Many veterans face lasting mental and emotional challenges following their service, including post-traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, and other invisible wounds.

While clinical definitions focus on traumatic events, our experience shows that trauma can also emerge during the transition from military to civilian life—often without adequate support.

Traditional talk therapy can be valuable, but for some, it can feel overwhelming or even retraumatizing. Cultural expectations to remain strong and suppress emotion can further hinder open, honest expression during recovery.

The True Top 1% Foundation provides veterans with access to creative programs designed to reduce isolation, promote self-expression, and strengthen coping skills.

Through guided art experiences, veterans are given a safe and supportive environment to process emotions, connect with others, and rediscover a sense of purpose and belonging.

Programs are offered in collaboration with veteran centers, community organizations, and local studios—ensuring accessibility and flexibility for participants. TT1P also hosts community events and art supply drives to make creative materials available to veterans, whether they participate in small group sessions or engage independently at home.

By fostering partnerships with veteran service organizations, mental health professionals, and community volunteers, TT1P promotes opportunities for healing, connection, and growth through the power of creativity.

We measure impact by tracking participation, gathering self-reported improvements in well-being and coping, and incorporating feedback to strengthen our programs.

Our goal is to help veterans experience lasting gains in emotional health, stronger community connections, and an improved sense of identity and purpose beyond military service.
