Clinically Assisted Programs
The True Top 1% Foundation’s Clinically Assisted Programs are designed for veterans who may benefit from guided creative experiences paired with professional clinical oversight. Developed in collaboration with licensed psychologists and trauma-informed facilitators, these programs integrate the freedom of artistic expression with evidence-informed principles of emotional processing and recovery.
Each session provides a structured, supportive environment where veterans can safely explore emotions, reduce stress, and strengthen coping strategies through creativity. Sessions are designed to complement—not replace—traditional therapy, helping veterans apply what they learn in counseling to real-world, expressive outlets.

In collaboration with their therapist and a TT1P facilitator, participants craft an “unofficial letter” to externalize thoughts that are often left unsaid. During group sessions, veterans layer those words beneath collective imagery—such as a sunrise, phoenix, or tree—symbolizing release, renewal, and strength.
Each phase of IGNITE—journaling, letter writing, art creation, and optional fire ceremony—guides veterans from internal reflection to emotional transformation. The process blends therapy and creativity to foster insight, connection, and lasting resilience.
